Our history

HISTORY & OBJECTIVES

Cut Out was born out of a creative and experimental impulse, with the purpose of promoting culture, activating synergies between métiers and people from different creative, scientific and cultural areas, such as design, architecture, illustration, carpentry, biology, oenology and history.

Cut Out is an Experimental Laboratory, which aims to found a platform for the creative use of technology in design, architecture, and other artistic fields.

With a strong ecological and environmental concern, all the techniques and materials used are chosen and worked with care.

By promoting its activities through the sale of parts and the provision of services, Cut Out is made up of three parts:

. CUT OUT - BRAND - creator of products with the signature of Cut Out;

. CUT OUT - FABLAB - anonymous products; personalized orders; complementary products from other brands;

. CUT OUT - SHOP - platform (digital) that allows the sharing and sale of parts.

Understood as an experimental practice, study and investigation are fundamental components of our work. That is why we consider the opportunity to work in spaces with all the bibliography that we have collected over the years to be valuable.

For us, outer space is of crucial importance. In addition to being able to use it as areas of enjoyment and inspiration with our animals, it allows us to expand the work areas whenever necessary.

The importance of the place.

The right to inhabit a territory.

Between 1980 and 1985 I attended architecture, first at ESBAL and then at FAUL.

In 1999, he founded MorphoPolis and for more than a decade he led a multidisciplinary team that changed the way of being in the profession in the region.

Mentor of the creation of RIONOR, consolidating learning of being in a territory as a place for the apprehension of the World.

In a course with some paths already taken, Cut Out must mean consolidation and coherence with what has been learned and the starting point for the unknown.
